INTRODUCTION
Amsterdam, the city of golden age art, is the capital of Netherlands with a population of around 1.36 million people. CLIMATE
Amsterdam has a damp climate with a lot of changes in temperature to the extremes even in summer. This especially happens during spring and winter, when the region experiences the most unsettled weather. In the winter months clear, frosty days are usual, although snowfall is very rare. The coldest months are December to March. Rain is consistent all year round. It is a good idea to carry rainwear and umbrellas at all times.

TRANSPORT
Public transport is the best way to view the sights and visit all the attractions. The metro is of two types. The underground metro and trains running on the surface. There are four metro lines; a fast tram line and a ring line complete the varied transport network system in Amsterdam. In the city center, people prefer taking trams as they are easy and affordable. The bus system consists of 30 lines, reaching farther neighborhoods and the north of Amsterdam city. Apart from these there are taxis, ferries and car available
AIRPORT
Amsterdam is served by the biggest and busiest airport in the Netherlands is Schiphol Airport .the airport is 14km outside Amsterdam. It is one of Europe’s best airports, ranked as Europe’s 3rd largest and the world’s 14th largest for cargo tonnage.
